MA in 女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studies
女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studies is an interdisciplinary program focusing on the racialization, experiences, issues and cultural productions of Chicanas and Chicanos. 女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studyists examine social realities faced, experienced, and created by Mexican Americans from diverse perspectives. The Department of 女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studies (CCS) offers a Master's Degree with three areas of emphasis: 教育, Policy, and Comparative Ethnic Studies. 学生 considering this program are encouraged to contact the 研究生 Advisor, Dr. 约翰尼·C. 拉米雷斯, to discuss requirements, options, and opportunities.

We offer an interdisciplinary program intended to provide students with a strong intellectual analysis of diverse Chicana/o and Latina/o experiences along with skills to address real-world issues in Chicanx, Latinx and other communities. The curriculum is grounded in the interdisciplinary Chicana/o Studies tradition of pursuing carefully developed, culturally grounded solutions to community needs. Individual courses and programs are intended to bridge the worlds of theory, cultural analysis, and practice. 学生 build on a solid foundation of historical and cultural analyses and attempt to develop new approaches to long-standing social, economic, educational, political, and intellectual problems that face Chicanx, Latinx, and other communities.
The CCS 研究生 program at 菠菜网lol正规平台 trains students to become leaders in a number of professional fields, including: teaching, social 服务s, health care, and community 服务. We also prepare students for doctoral study in Chicana/o Studies, Ethnic Studies and other academic fields.

女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studies graduate students have presented their work at various 会议. Each year, at least 10 of our students present their research the National Association for 女奇卡诺人, Chicano Studies conference.
