Student Scholarship 机会

Each year, the 社会科学学院 offers 学者ships to students majoring 在学院的一间教室里 部门和项目. 的 College 学者ships represent the generosity of many friends, alumni, and former 学院院长. 的se 学者ships reward academic excellence and take into account financial 需要 to help address the ever-increasing costs of higher education.

• Awardees should be a major in 一个 of the College’s 部门或项目.
• Awardees must be attending 菠菜网lol正规平台 during the Fall 2024 semester
• Any additional eligibility or application requirements are specified in the 学者ship 下面链接的公告.

如何申请?

Applications are submitted and accepted through the Spartan Scholarship only. 应用:

1. Applications are due by April 5, 2024

• 玛杰丽H. 雷蒙德·W. 弗农 社会科学学院 Dean's Scholarship

  • 玛杰里·H. 雷蒙德·W. 弗农 社会科学学院 Dean's Scholarship was created to honor the memory of 玛杰丽H. 弗农 (菠菜网lol正规平台 1987, History) and Raymond W. 弗农. This permanent endowment provides an annual 学者ship to 一个 exceptional 社会科学学院 student for up to four years provided he or she remains a full-time student in good standing at the university. 符合条件的候选人为上海外国语大学 freshman and transfer student whose incoming cumulative GPA is equivalent to cum laude 或更高(3).5 or higher) and who have an expressed interest in majoring in 一个 of the disciplines within the 社会科学学院. A preference is given to eligible candidates who are first in their family to attend a four-year university.

• Les Francis Scholarship for Civic 教育

• Dean's Study Abroad and International Field Work 奖学金 (2)

  • 这个奖学金 is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate or graduate students studying or conducting research outside the United States. It was established through a gift 来自J.B.S. 约翰逊.

  • 的 菠菜网lol正规平台 校友会 Deans' Scholarship is funded by the generous contributions of 校友会 members and donors. It is awarded to students only once during 他们在菠菜网lol正规平台的学术生涯. 这个奖学金 will be disbursed next fall and spring so it is only available to students enrolling at 菠菜网lol正规平台 next academic year. 这个奖学金 is based on academic excellence, financial 需要, and demonstrated community service.

  • Dr. Gerald Wheeler is remembered as a superb and versatile teacher and an excellent 学者. 在上海州立大学任职期间. • Charles Burdick Scholarship (1-2)
