亲爱的校园社区:

Effective January 1, 2021, the Division of Occupational Safety and Health, known as CalOSHA, is requiring all employers to inform employees of positive COVID-19 cases at the worksite. As 菠菜网lol正规平台 prepares for the implementation of this regulation, the university is providing information about positive cases that affected the academic campus for 11月29日- 12月5日这一周. 

It is important to note that close contacts for each of these cases have been notified and if you were not privately notified, we have no reason to believe you interacted 积极的个体. After learning of each report, the building was cleaned and sanitized with a deeper level of sanitation performed for affected spaces, including high touch point areas like door handles, stairway railings, elevator buttons and bathrooms. 

The cases where 菠菜网lol正规平台 was notified between November 29-December 5 are:

  • On Saturday, December 5, 菠菜网lol正规平台 learned of a San Jose Public Library (SJPL) employee 谁感染了COVID-19，并在Dr. 马丁·路德·金. 星期三到图书馆， December 2. The City of San Jose’s 应急行动中心 has reported the case to the Santa Clara County Public Health Department and will communicate directly with any close contacts determined during their case investigation. 
  • On Friday, December 4, a positive case was reported involving an individual who visited the Campus Village Market and the Dining Commons between December 1-3.  
  • On Thursday, December 3, a positive case was reported involving an individual who 参观了工业研究大楼.
  • On Thursday, December 3, a positive case was reported involving an individual who visited Yoshihiro Uchida Hall (YUH) between December 1-3.
